Look before you leap

People who take decisions in haste will repent it in leisure. It is also said that haste makes waste. Before undertaking a new venture one should think and plan well. If planning and careful organization are not there. Any job will end up in a disaster. Looking ahead, thinking of pros and cons, and then starting work or taking a decision will ensure good results. Just as, once you have taken a leap, you cannot choose your landing. You should have looked carefully and chosen the place before taking the leap. So think carefully about what you are going to do before you do it.

A man should not do anything without thinking about its pros and cons. He should think twice before starting the work. Only fools rush into a new venture without thinking over it. Wise men consider every aspect of the new plan before putting it into practice. Such people believe in the saying, "Look before you leap". Later they repent over their folly. For this reason, it is said, 'Haste makes waste. It is proper to see the new venture from all aspects before starting work on it. There are some occasions in life when a man has to take quick decisions and has to start work immediately. But these occasions are rare. In the army, the Army Commander has to take all the risks. He takes all the decisions at the spur of the moment. But in a normal situation, one must keep in mind that it is always wise to look before taking the leap. Success demands proper planning and planning means hasty actions should be avoided. We can plan properly if we think before acting.
