A Rolling Stone gathers no moss

People who are fickle-minded or those who change their plans frequently cannot achieve success. One should have only one goal in life and try to achieve it with single-minded devotion and concentration. If one loses interest and searches for newer goals, one will not succeed in achieving anything worthwhile in life. This proverb is particularly applicable to people who go on changing their jog frequently thinking that by moving from one job to another they gain experience and maturity. Unfortunately, they will neither gain experience nor wisdom nor will they be able to make an impact on others. They are just like a moving stone that does not gather any Moses on its surface.
